Perdix Firearms is authorised by the Home Office to Possess Prohibited Weapons for use in Film and Television productions. This Authority is sometimes known as the Section 5 Firearms License. We are therefore Registered Firearms Dealers. All our business is conducted under the controls of; the Firearms Acts, the Violent Crime Reduction Act and the Health and Safety at Work Act. All the movements of our weapons are recorded and our weapons are tracked whenever they are moved.

Risk Assessments:
We write a Risk Assessment for each and every production. This is submitted to the Production Manager for distribution to the cast and crew on a daily basis.

Insurance:
We hold insurance that is specific to our industry. This insurance covers our activities as Film and TV armourers. We have £5 million of Public and Product Liability as well as £10 million Employers liability
