Perdix Firearms win the Battle of Trafalgar (Square)
Shooting Nick Love's 'The Sweeney' brought Perdix firmly into the public eye on November 6th 2011.
Filming 'The Sweeney', starring Ray Winstone and Plan B in Trafalgar Square had its own particular problems.
"We were not allowed to make any noise." commented Rob Partridge, Perdix's CEO. "We set all the weapons up to fire silent blank rounds. The weapons fired and cycled as normal but there was no bang and no muzzle flash. I believe that this is the first time it's been done in Trafalgar Square. The sound and muzzle flash will be added in later. It's great to be working with Nick (Love) again. He always sets us a challenge......"
The filming was captured and put on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rUHiXpW5F0c
Filming continues on 'The Sweeney' until mid December 2011.
Ends.
